Custom Pet Portraits
Bold color. Big personality.
Your pet, painted.
Each portrait is painted close-cropped and larger than life — expressive brushwork, saturated backgrounds, and every bit of their personality captured on canvas. One of a kind, by hand, forever.
Start Your CommissionMade by hand.
Your pet, but make it art.
These portraits aren't posed or polished — they're painted the way your pet actually looks at you. Close-cropped faces, visible brushwork, backgrounds in the kinds of colors that make a painting stop you mid-scroll. Cobalt blue. Burnt orange. Deep forest green. Whoever they are, that's who shows up on canvas.
Every portrait is a one-of-a-kind original. What you receive is the only one that exists — signed, shipped on 1" thick canvas, and ready to hang the minute it arrives.
✳︎ You'll see a digital mockup before a single brushstroke is applied — and the finished painting before it ever ships.
The Process
Here's how it goes.
Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.
Send your favorite photo.
The closer, the better. These portraits are intimate and close-cropped — the face is the painting. A clear shot of their eyes, nose, that specific expression only you recognize.
- Natural light brings out the best color
- Get in close — face-forward is perfect
- Portrait mode on iPhone works great
- Send a few options if one photo isn't quite right
Pick your background color.
The background is half the painting. A digital mockup is created first — your pet placed against a suggested color — and sent to you before a drop of paint is mixed. You approve it, tweak it, or pick your own.
- Cobalt, teal, mustard, forest green — all fair game
- Have a color in mind? Let me know
Sit back and relax.
Once the mockup is approved, the painting gets underway. Plan for about 6–8 weeks. Need it by a date that matters — a birthday, an anniversary, a hard one — just mention it upfront.
- ~6–8 week turnaround from photo receipt
- 1" thick canvas, signed, ready to hang
Finished Portraits
Big color. Good bois and girls.
No stiff poses. No boring backgrounds. Just your pet, painted exactly as chaotic and lovable as they actually are.

Questions
Good things to know.
Yes — dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, birds, whatever you love. If it has a face and a personality worth capturing, it can be painted. The weirder and more specific, the better.
Old photos work beautifully. Some of the most meaningful portraits come from older, imperfect images — the ones where you can still see exactly who they were. Send what you have and we'll work with it.
Yes. Reach out before ordering so we can talk through sizing and composition — multiple subjects need a little more room to breathe, and that may affect the price.
Send a few options and we'll figure it out together. The close-cropped style means lighting matters a lot for getting the colors right — more reference photos always helps, even if none of them are perfect.
Expressive and bold. Portraits are painted close-cropped — faces front and center, filling the canvas — with visible brushwork and saturated background colors. Think cobalt blue, mustard yellow, deep forest green. The style is painterly, not photorealistic. The goal is to capture who your pet is, not just what they look like.
Never. Every portrait is a one-of-a-kind original on canvas. No prints are made, no reproductions exist. What you receive is the only one there is.
Twice, actually. First you'll see a digital mockup — your pet placed against a suggested background color — before a drop of paint is mixed. Then a photo of the finished painting goes out for approval before anything ships. Nothing leaves without your green light.
About 6–8 weeks from the time your photo is received and confirmed. Need it by a birthday, anniversary, or a date that matters? Mention it upfront and we'll make sure it's doable before you order.
Reach out. It doesn't happen often, but when it does we work it out — that's what the approval steps are there for. Your satisfaction genuinely matters more than a fast transaction.
Full payment at the time of ordering. Work begins once your photo is received and confirmed — the digital mockup comes first, then paint.
Your pet called.
They want their portrait.
Spots are limited. Send your photo and let's figure out the size, the color, the whole thing. No commitment until it feels right.
